French drains work best for areas where there is no standing water but the surface is consistently mushy and wet. These drains absorb water out of the soil and allow it peculate into the ground at a faster rate.

TRENCH DRAINS

Trench drains are channel-like drains that run along a driveway, sidewalk or patio surface to collect surface water. These drains are great if you have a large area where water needs to be collected.

RETAINER WALLS
 

Retainer walls hold materials together. When dirt continually washes out or the soil level needs to be raised retainer walls are a great solution to keep the dirt in place.

SOIL AND GRADING
 

Many times drainage problems are best solved by re-shaping the ground to create swales that will move the water naturally.

SUMP PUMP SYSTEMS
 

When the water has no way to drain naturally, sump pumps can be a great solution. These pumps are typically installed inside drain basins, where they turn on automatically when the storm water reaches a certain level and discharge the water by pressure to a new location.
